Other than using Google with “site:lists.macromates.com” there is no dedicated search system.
That’s a nifty trick, didn’t think of that myself :-)

For the records, simply switch to regular releases and click “Check Now” and you’re offered to downgrade (to last regular release).
Off topic: is there a open bug list available for textmate 2? I don’t see any on github.
There is no such thing, sorry. But there is no harm in reporting something that is already known.
Off topic 2: are there any tools available to search in the textmate mailing list archive, short of going manually through each month’s archive?
