Hi Haris, the bib file was specified with TM_LATEX_BIB and is not in the same directory as the LaTeX file but is in ~/Library/texmf/bibtex/ bib/. All the citation commands worked prior to the update mentioned before, but now don't work. Or rather didn't until revision 6492. Could the problem have been the window leak produced by the dialog plugin? Anyway, for whatever reason, after another update, things work as expected. Thanks for looking into this. I pasted this into a new bib file, and it works fine for me, so there must be something wrong with your setup. Do you specify the bib file via TM_LATEX_BIB or regularly? Is it in the same directory as the file you are compiling? Does the opt-esc completion command work for you?

Sounds like the command has a difficulty processing the bib file. Can you create a minimal test case, so that I can reproduce it over here? Does the old bib completion command work?
Odd that since I edit my bib file through BibDesk. I get the same result with the following minimal bib file:
%% This BibTeX bibliography file was created using BibDesk. %% http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/
