The crash is in Adobe's Acrobat framework, and this is launched by WebKit's plugin handler.
So my guess is that you have an Acrobat reader plugin to handle PDF's (which is buggy).
I can recommend Schuberts PDF browser plugin [1], though I have no idea how one sets which plugin the WebKit should use.
I had the exact same problem. The setting is actually in the Adobe Reader preferences. Open the preferences and go to the Internet category. There uncheck the "Display in PDF browser using: " box, and possibly also the "Check browser settings when starting Reader" box (If you don't it will try to take over again when it gets a chance). Restart your browser possibly, and that should do the trick. If you later restart the reader and go to the preferences again, it would seem that the box is checked again, but your browser should nonetheless work just fine, assuming the second box is unchecked.
I have to admit, I find it quite irritating, and weird, that this setting would be in adobe reader. Then again, I find it weird that to set the Default Browser, you have to actually open the Safari preferences. I would expect a system preferences pane devoted to such issues.
