Yes, and it would be really great for a lot of the bundle commands I'm working on right now... not sure how you wanted to go about doing it, though.

This was the abstraction layer I wanted to create, so that we could re-use the same logic for the various link-creating commands in Markdown, Textile, HTML, etc.?
