I've been using TextMate version 2.0-alpha.9443
for a few weeks now but since yesterday I can't get it to send do files directly to Stata. Well, to be more precise, when I send a do file to Stata using the bundle commands, instead of the do file turning up in the Stata do file editor with the same name, e.g. `environment.do', it turns up with a name like `tm-stata-1200.do' which causes an error message from Stata because it can't locate such a file.
Liz,
For one thing, you need to make sure that the Stata preference
Do-file Editor -> Advanced -> Edit do-files opened from the Finder in Do-file Editor
is unchecked, otherwise Stata will open the file in its own do-file editor instead of executing the file. Also, take a look at Section 2.2 of the Help file (available in the Stata bundle menu), entitled "Use of temporary files". Let me know if that doesn't solve your problem.
