yeah... i was wondering if there is possibility to combine key with any ctrl key or whatever to turn it off at hoc.
The feature [1] can be configured per scope, and already we disable auto-pairing of apostrophes for scopes likely to contain prose (comments, strings, text files including HTML, etc.).
If you disabled the Source or Text bundle, you may have disabled these sane defaults though.
