I'm getting this error after copying the new command line tools to / usr/local/bin: tm: you need to update this helper tool.
I take it you made sure it actually loads the tools from that location? I.e. type which tm and check. Otherwise that would explain it.
Yeah, that's the only place I have them installed:
(18:44:54 <~>) 0 $ tm --version tm 1.4 (2005-06-16)
This is the same version number that I got when checking the binaries on the b15 disk image.
