That is a limitation of the current TeX, afaik. You'll be a lot happier if you can manage to restrict your labels to [a-zA-Z0-9.,:/*! ^_-]

I see… :) What would be great is if for the LaTeX bundle to automagically replace accented characters in the label name ! :D
