I think we could at the very least incorporate these flashmode scripts: http://www.math.uni-heidelberg.de/studinfo/gerhardt/tex/. It is in my long list of 15 or so things I want to get to work in TextMate. I think we can make it instant enough for most (many) practical purposes.
