Hi,
I am a newbie to TextMate.
I've tried to run a simple test with creating a TeX document and running a latex (using the built-in) bundle. I am getting the "unbound variable error" when I try to execute the command. I get similar problem with other bundles.
What seems to be the problem and how to fix it?
Thanks.
M.

I don’t have the slightest idea what this is.
Where does this error show up? and exactly what does it say (paste all relevant text)?

I have a valid latex file open in TextMate. I then run command Typeset and View from the Latex bundle. A Typeset & View comes up and the following error appears:
/bin/bash: line 37: RUBYLIB: unbound variable /bin/bash: line 19: TM_PROJECT_DIRECTORY: unbound variable
I have ruby installed in /usr/bin directory and latex is also installed and in the correct path. I am getting similar ("unbound variable") errors with other bundles. I am running version 1.5 (build 906).
Any information is appreciated.
Marko

I did a quick google, and these errors mean that the variables are used un-initialized.
But that should only be a problem, if you enable a certain security setting.
Do you do that? e.g. have “set -u” or similar in your /etc/profile, ~/.bash_profile, ~/.bashrc, ~/.profile or the likes?

Yes, this was indeed the problem. Everything is working great now.
Thanks,
Marko
