Yes, sounds like I should -- Torsten Becker actually warned me about the proximity of the two keys, but I thought it was only a theoretical problem, being a superb typist myself ;)
Btw: another trick is to alias 'rm' to 'rm -i', which will make rm prompt for confirmation.
