That's a valid point, I can understand that.  So buy version 2, throw  
it away, and use the free upgrade to 2.x that everyone is going to  
get, which I am sure will need your original serial number.

I am just looking for ways to deal with this issue that cause zero  
changes to how the current system of serials and "shopping cart" work,  
as messing with those things are a waste of time that I would rather  
see put into the app itself.
