Darren,
I haven't seen this message for a long time. You can get additional
debugging information about what the LaTeX bundle sees by running the
following command:
defaults write com.macromates.textmate latexDebug 1
Then try to typeset your file in TextMate again and send me the debug
output. Hopefully that will be enough to figure out what is going on.
defaults write com.macromates.textmate latexDebug 0
will turn off the debug output.
