[TxMt] Any chance for non-single character undo in TM?

You probably wanted to check the wiki—it's #3 on the request list
(which means everyone else shares your pain):

But I doubt it'll change in the 1.x program, if for no other reason
than if it was remotely easy to do it would have been done already.
Hopefully you'll find enough other things to like about TextMate to
offset it's quirks.

Or just do what I do - don't make any mistakes ;-)
