Mr. Saul Rosenbaum....

When making a _new post_, that is, anything that changed the subject 
and is not just a reply to a previous message, _please use the 'New' 
button in your mail program and enter the email address of the list. Do 
NOT press the reply button in some random thread. Now you just did it 
two times in a row ;-).  *slaps you with a manual on mailing-list 
etiquette*.
