My Vote and Comment
Vote: I like them both but Icon B will stand out more in my PowerBook 
(i.e. small) dock.
I'm wary of highly-detailed icon attributes like the pen.

Comment: "a bit of an anorak" -- Mats you've lived in the UK too long!
