FYI I am also maintaining 10.6 incompatible changes reverts in order to build latest TM2 and run on my SL 10.6.8 MacBook Pro.

Please note I will rebase it occasionally onto master, probably add some extra reverts on the bottom, then force push, so it is better not fork from this branch.
