• change dialog label to not use # as an abbreviation for “number”
• put default value in string gadget and remove note about the format
• parse the value with a regexp which just extracts two integers, so user can write: “2, 4”, “2x4”, “2-4”, and similar
• add Cancel button to dialog (and exit if user presses it)
