heh... I disabled Spotlight in /etc/hostconfig because I was fed up  
with the extra HD activity, and now it seems that I can't search in  
Mail anymore ;)

Anyway, this variable was broken in b8 for snippets and is fixed  
again in b9, which is scheduled for release in a day or two.
