Thanks.
I was not aware that TMTools was installed in my system. I guess I
tried it at some moment. Anyway, I'm not actually using it, so I've
just uninstalled it (by removing it from ~/Library/Application
Support/TextMate/Plugins).

Now I can type option+e and TextMate doesn't quit, but... it doesn't
display € either. Why?
