It really should have done this automatically, granted the project  
had the containing folder added (as a folder reference).

I.e. rather than adding files individually to the project drawer,  
drag the folder containing the files to the project drawer (or to the  
TextMate application icon), and the project should be self-updating,  
when changes are made in the filesystem.
