In your project .tm_properties file include the following:
exclude = "{$exclude,log/*,tmp/*}"
This will exclude everywhere. If you want to exclude only these files from
only some TM features, the following exclude* rules are available:
exclude
excludeFiles
excludeDirectories
excludeInBrowser
excludeInFolderSearch
excludeInFileChooser
excludeFilesInBrowser
excludeDirectoriesInBrowser
