Most people do not do their own build, no. I think it’s something like 
86% on normal releases, 13.75% on (the somewhat misnamed) “nightly 
builds”, and last 0.25% using a custom build (excl. MacPort builds, 
which are building from a tag, rather than ‘master’).

But the goal is to always have ‘master’ in a good state.
