Not that I'm aware of. This convention is followed by lots of  
different applications on the Mac, though, so it's useful muscle- 
memory to develop. You can use it on Safar, BBEdit, TextEdit, Mail,  
etc. (I'm actually not sure where it *doesn't* work, it's so  
widespread in my experience.)
