[TxMt] LaTeX2 bundle and Biber?

Hi all-

Not that I couldn't figure out how to make this work, but is there any  
current facility for substituting Biber for Bibtex in the LaTeX2  
bundle? (or, I guess, the original bundle?)

If not, any thinking on the right way to do this; or should I just  
start hacking?
