Add the shift key while moving the cursor.

Also the Emacs keybindings are easier on the fingers if you map the
caps lock key to control.  Just bring up the Keyboard system
preferences pane, select the Keyboard tab, and press the Modifier Keys
button, and choose the ^ Control action for the caps lock key.
