Uhm... Either you must be living under a rock or your feedreader is  
broken. http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/GitProjects lists a "couple more" non- 
rails projects. About a week ago even GNOME announced their migration  
plans (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2009-March/msg00086.html 
). There's a lot going on outside the Rails context.
