Hello,

In fact, Textmate was using /usr/bin/ruby (despite what the Ctrl-r  
trick reveals) which turns out to be a dead link on my machine  
(unclear why). Based on the feedback that I got, I restored that link  
to point to the 1.8.6. version that ships with Leopard. Problem fixed!
