[TxMt] Control + Escape doesn't work [solved]

Shame upon me!
I might have searched the mailing list archive but I forgot to check  
the most excellent Wiki that Allan set up at http://wiki.macromates.com.

There was the solution to my problem! I quote:

f the key in question is ⌃⎋ (to open the bundle menu), then the  
problem is caused by Apple’s Remote Desktop application, you can  
disable ARD in System Preferences → Sharing (called Remote Management  
in Leopard). The Screen Sharing option in Leopard also steals this key  
combination.
