And also triggering snippets on punctuation can be a pain for users  
who like to tab-align their code (i.e. insert snippets after said  
punctuation).

For example I am inclined to remove the : tab trigger from the Ruby  
bundle. The only reason it is mildly bearable is that the de facto  
standard for Ruby is to use spaces instead of tabs.
