as has been said before, \include{} can't be nested. in contrast to  
\input{}
\include{} starts a new page and files referenced by this command can  
be selected using \includeonly{} which is extremely useful when  
working on large volumes ...

i'd prefer if the drag operation pasted the entire file contents.
