Thanks Brad,
I noticed the popup you mention will take a file path but will only go
to the folder the file is in. However if I just start typing the
filename once it's done that, it selects the file in the folder window.
>From there I can hit enter and voila. A little more work than C-x C-F,
but infinitely better than a full GUI navigation of the path. Thanks
