[TxMt] More TM & Wordpress questions

Ok, so maybe I'm missing something.  I downloaded subversion from the  
below link and tried to install it so I can get back to trying to  
work on my WP problem.  However, after installing it I'm told that  
svn is still not a valid command in the terminal.  Any help?
