It should already work with a selection.

To make it work with current line (for no selection) go to Bundles →  
Edit Commands… and locate the command (in the Source bundle) and  
change the “[Selection] or [Nothing]” to “[Selection] or  
[Line]”.

It doesn’t do the extra newlines and tab when there is input though.  
But you can modify the script, if you prefer that.
