[TxMt] LaTeX apostrophes

Hi there,

consider a sentence such as this:

...from the virtual environment's implementation.

is there a reason that the LaTeX bundle scopes a single apostrophe as  
the following:

string.quoted.single.close.latex
punctuation.definition.string.end.latex

Am I using the apostrophe inappropriately in this context? i.e. is  
there some fancy LaTeX code for an apostrophe?
