Unfortunately I was not able to fix this for the just released r1031.  
I did however make it log the coordinates at which it tries to open  
the menu. This should tell if I supply wrong coordinates, or if it’s  
the NSPopUpButtonCell which decides to show the menu somewhat truncated.
