[TxMt] too much space in pasting?

Perhaps the behavior you are seeing is re-indented paste, which is a  
feature of TextMate but may appear to be a "mistake" in some  
situations. See section 4.3.2 of the manual: http://macromates.com/ 
textmate/manual/all_pages

You can avoid it by using ⌃⌘V to paste.
