Thanks -- the # character indicates the key is on the numeric pad,  
which apparently is not sent for laptop keyboards. It can be stripped  
from the default stuff w/o causing a problem, but I'll have to modify  
the recording of key equivalents to also strip it for the enter key,  
it seems.
