I would agree that it's user-unfriendly for people who don't know how
to use Subversion, but it seems to me that a lot of TextMate's
audience is programmers (who should damn well be using source
control!), and Subversion is only required for staying on the cutting
edge...

Anyway, I personally think that Subversion is a really good solution,
and was happy to hear that bundles could be managed in that manner.
It's nice to be able to use all of its features for managing bundles,
like selectively choosing updates and reverting to older revisions for
only specfic bundles in the case of bugs.  Also, being able to easily
generate patches if you fix something.
