[TxMt] Split Panes: who/what/when/where/why

I just registered TM and I must say that this is an issue for me too.

Long file, reference info at the top, function I'm working on at the 
bottom.

Obvious solution, split the window as you would in every real editor 
I've used for the last 25 years.

Just consider this one more vote for split windows (this is where I 
vote, isn't it?).
