For what it's worth, I actually did have the "^" originally, but I 
deleted it while trying to figure out why my initial attempt at 
highlighting wasn't working, and I never put it back.

Nah, Chris loves contributions from others, especially bug fixes. :) 
Feel free to add more highlighting if you think it's helpful. I'm not 
very experienced with the iCalendar format and have little idea what 
features in-depth hackers might find useful.

I'm not wedded to the colors, either, BTW.
