I haven't looked at the movie, but is ⌘-t (in a project) what you're  
looking for?  It gives you a little QuickSilver-like window with a  
list of files in the current project.

Did you know that ⌘ is actually a "place of interest sign"?  Yeah,  
pointless, I know (unless you want to type it in an email!) :-)
