[TxMt] Freeze on startup

You could try deleting the preferences file and/or restarting the 
machine... These things seem to cure such symptoms in general.
Of course, they don't tell you much about why the problem was created 
in the first place, i.e. they cure the symptoms, not the root of the 
problem....
