[TextMate] Modifier Keys with Snippets

Noel,
You can always record a macro that invokes your snippet and bind a key
to invoke the macro. Yeah, it's a bit more work but not much. I wrote
an example on how to use snippets and macros effectively together
(http://jlaine.net/blog/10/textmate-goodie-1) and I remember someone
had already earlier done something similar for HTML tags.
