I agree.  I've got my thinking cap on, and have some ideas already... 
will talk to Allan when I next see him online.  I still really like it 
at large sizes, but at small sizes, it's lost in the dock.

But really, there's more pressing issues than the icon... There's 
nothing stopping you from using your own in the meantime, and 
submitting it as an alternative for Allan to review :)
