• only set MANSECT if it is not already set.

This variable control which sections should be searched. If it is unset, TM will set it to 2-9, so to exclude shell commands.

If you want to have it also show shell commands, go to Preferences -> Advanced and set MANSECT to 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8:9. I probably will make it fallback to searching section 1, if no matches where found in 2-9.
