The headers for the C++ standard library, and in particular the STL, have no file type extensions. However, as shipped on Tiger, possibly earlier, the GCC STL headers have the Emacs mode-set sequence in the very first line: -*- C++ -*-. TM can match this with firstLineMatch.

And thusly TM removes another roadblock to world peace.
