Have to say I love this feature, find it so frustrating to not be able to do this in PHP Storm for example. CMD+E then CMD+TAB then CMD+G is hard wired in my brain…

Part of TextMate’s appeal is that it’s a real Cocoa app that works
correctly with the rest of the system, and not some cross-platform
Frankenstein.
And in my experience, the history in TextMate’s Find interface is very
good at restoring not only the text, but the options from previous
searches.
