Hi:

Reinstalled TM1 and MacTex 2013 and it seems to be o.k.  TM2 still has  the same error message  despite my following all the instructions in the Revert-To-Defaults  several times and re-downloading and installing TM2.
TM2 does now show the LaTex bundle installed.

So it seems that the paths must be messed up.  I have no idea how to fix them, however.  Here is what I have:

I am sorry to be such a bother on such a basic problem…

All of a sudden Textmate Version 1.5.11 (1635) stopped compiling LaTeX files.  Comes back with the error:

javac: invalid flag: /Users/wgibson/Mexico/TMP.tex

That sort of looks like you’re triggering Java → Run instead of LaTeX → Typeset & View.

Perhaps you accidentally changed .tex files to be treated as Java.

Tried TM 2 and the same thing…won’t    compile

Failure running typeset and view…
Typeset & View (PDF):4: undefined method `+' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError)

This would happen if you lack the Bundle Support bundle. To be sure things are as they should be (with 2.0) see https://github.com/textmate/textmate/wiki/Reverting-To-Defaults
