If I uninstall and reinstall the bundle via Preferences > Bundles, TM installs only an old version (last commit one year ago) of this bundle.

Updates to bundles are deployed manually, just need to send me a message on IRC/Twitter/email/etc when you want a set of updates to go out. Just deployed the R bundle.
